Air handler - An air handler (Air Handling Unit - in the UK) is a device used as part of an HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) system. Usually, an air handler is a large unit containing a blower, heating and/or cooling elements, filter racks or chambers, sound attenuators and dampers, but not including the ductwork through the building.
Resistance wire - Resistance wire is electrical wire that is used for its high resistance. Resistance wire is usually used for resistor and heating elements, which produce heat used in electric heaters, electric ovens and toasters.
Molybdenum(IV) silicide - Molybdenum disilicide (2, molybdenum silicide, or MOSI2), an intermetallic compound, a silicide of molybdenum, is a refractory ceramic with primary use in heating elements. It has moderate density, melting point 2230 °C, and is electrically conductive.
Baking - Baking is the technique of cooking food in an oven by dry heat applied evenly throughout the oven or only from the bottom element. Many household ovens in North America are usually provided with two heating elements, one in the bottom for baking, and one in the top for broiling.
